David Krut Arts brings together three exceptional South African women artists in a new group exhibition showcasing how their ambitious practices, compelling visual languages, and deeply resonant subject matter have captured the attention of collectors, curators, and audiences.

Recently, Heidi Fourie, Nthabiseng Boledi Kekana and Olivia Pinter’s work have emerged with a standout presence across prestigious local and international art fairs including 1:54 Contemporary African Art Fair, New York and RMB Latitudes Art Fair, Johannesburg.

The exhibition positions these artists as important voices to watch; women whose work is not only resonates in the moment, but who are shaping the future direction of contemporary art. The artists’ recent achievements at major art fairs signal a growing international appetite for their practices, affirming their significance within both local and global contexts.

Says Ame Bell, David Krut Arts’ Director: “Rather than simply reflecting a moment of success, the exhibition highlights a sustained trajectory of artistic growth and increasing recognition. Each artist demonstrates a distinctive and confident approach to mark-making, material, narrative, and form, contributing meaningfully to contemporary artistic discourse while pushing the boundaries of their respective mediums”.

Highlighting the collaborative nature of our activities and the powerful presence of women in the creative space, Fourie, Kekana and Pinter have produced works on paper in collaboration with skilled women printmakers Kim-Lee Loggenberg Tim and Roxy Kaczmarek from the David Krut Workshop. The printmakers’ technical expertise, sensitivity, and collaborative engagement have all play a vital role in bringing these works into being and demonstrates the collective strength, creativity, and innovation of South African women working across the contemporary creative practice.
