With the onset of darkness, the BIX media facade comes to life: the big eyes begin to blink and turn their attention to the urban space. Passers-by can actively intervene by pressing a button to draw their gaze and thus enter into a direct dialogue with the architecture. The façade responds to its surroundings and becomes a living counterpart in the public space.

The project explores the idea of an attentive, curious gaze that constantly reorients itself, questioning the relationship between city, building, and the public. In this way, a direct and intuitive form of interaction emerges in public space.

Big eyes was developed by Elina Dorzhieva, Veronika Poštrak, and Genovefa Zourkou.
