Red Arrow is proud to present this pop-up exhibition, conceived in dialogue with the dynamic program of performances taking place at OZ Arts. Developed alongside the venue’s Spring and Summer season, the exhibition extends the creative energy of the stage into the gallery space, offering visitors an opportunity to engage with artistic responses that resonate with the themes, movements, and atmospheres explored through live performance.

The curated selection brings together works by artists based across Tennessee as well as in Birmingham, Brooklyn, Chicago, and Los Angeles. Drawing inspiration from the performances presented during the season, the participating artists translate the language of dance, music, and theater into visual form. Through painting, sculpture, and other media, these works reflect on rhythm, gesture, narrative, and the emotional intensity that characterizes the performing arts.

By situating visual artworks within the broader ecosystem of live performance, Red Arrow and OZ Arts highlight the fertile ground that exists between disciplines. The exhibition celebrates the exchange of ideas among artists working across mediums, demonstrating how similar questions and creative impulses can emerge in different forms. In doing so, it invites audiences to experience a richer dialogue between visual art and performance, expanding the ways in which contemporary artistic practices intersect and inform one another.
