Downtown Los Angeles’ Corey Helford Gallery (CHG) is proud to announce its first major group show of the year, titled Altered images: vintage paint-by-numbers reimagined, set to open this Saturday (1/10) in Gallery 2 and be on view through February 14th.

This delightfully playful show features new works painted atop classic originals by over 65 favorite CHG artists. The exhibition began with a collection of vintage, already-painted paint-by-numbers pieces, which participating artists were invited to reinterpret by adding their own iconic styles.

Similar to the gallery’s beloved group exhibit Art Collector Starter Kit, this exhibition offers newer and younger collectors access to affordable, fun, one-of-a-kind pop-culture collaborations by artists they love. Artists may add characters, alter landscapes, make clowns do “terrible” things, and more. Each piece is signed by the artist and presented together in an incredible group show designed to delight and enchant.
