Autumn on orchard is a group exhibition inspired by the urban landscape of the city and the visual language of a changing season. This change comes along with the cyclical span of nature and the metropolitan lifestyle, as well as the contrasts that New York as a city creates for us.
Set against the pace and density of city life, the exhibition explores the unexpected moments where nature interrupts the grid with golden leaves falling from gingko trees. Where thousands of acorns in the boroughs and city parks feed hungry squirrels, and soft light filters through towering building blocks of bricks, steel, and glass. The always enduring natural world prevailing in its magnificent hues, from its warm ambers to deep magentas.
Each artist in the exhibition interprets this delicate intersection between nature and the manmade through distinct media—painting, sculpture, photography, and mixed media—creating a dialogue between the organic and the constructed. The works reflect both serenity and chaos, nostalgia and renewal, echoing the rhythms of a city constantly in motion yet perpetually pausing for moments of quiet beauty. Through texture, color, and form, Autumn on Orchard invites viewers to rediscover the fleeting poetry found in their own surroundings, celebrating the season’s glow and the resilience of life in the city’s heart.
