Momentum Gallery is pleased to present the gallery’s ninth annual Small works | Big impact exhibition, an anticipated showcase that highlights the creativity and skill of 25 represented and guest artists. This special exhibition brings together a diverse range of media, from painting and sculpture to glass, ceramics, and mixed media, offering visitors a chance to experience the power of small-scale works that leave a lasting impression. Each piece, though intimate in size, captures the essence of Momentum Gallery’s vision—where craftsmanship, concept, and beauty intersect to create meaningful and evocative art.
This year’s collection reflects the gallery’s signature spirit, celebrating themes of nature, narrative, wonder, color, and the transformation of materials. Viewers can expect to see captivating new works by artists including Steven L. Anderson, Michael Barringer, Samantha Bates, Christina Bothwell, Dana Brown, Caroline Dewison, David Ellsworth, Andy Farkas, Vicki Grant, Amy Gross, Ivy Jacobsen, Ani Kasten, Meg Lagodzki, Bryce Lafferty, Linda Mitchell, Matthew Day Perez, William Henry Price, Danna Ray, Casey Roberts, Paul Sattler, Brian Sostrom, Greg Sand, Lawrence Tarpey, Jerilyn Virden, and more. Each artist offers a unique approach to form and concept, yet together they create a cohesive and visually rich exhibition that celebrates both individual voices and shared artistic vision.
Small works | Big impact opens with a public reception at Momentum Gallery in downtown Asheville on Thursday, November 13, from 5–8 pm. Visitors are invited to meet the artists, explore the works up close, and experience how even the smallest creations can convey profound emotion and thought. The exhibition continues through the season, inviting reflection on how scale influences perception, and proving that great art often resides in the most compact and carefully crafted forms.
