1x1 Art Gallery, founded by Malini Gulrajani in 1996, has been an integral part of the UAE's cultural landscape, exhibiting modern and contemporary art from the Global South at its Alserkal Avenue location in Dubai. As a space dedicated to intellectual engagement, and through extensive collaborations with local and international artists, galleries, art fairs, museums, curators, and organizations, the gallery has consistently fostered cultural exchange and championed diverse artistic expressions.
