Martín López Corredoira

Born in Lugo (Spain) on 1970, December 8th, graduated in Physics (Univ. Complutense de Madrid, Spain, 1993), PhD in Physics (Univ. La Laguna, Tenerife, Spain, 1997), PhD in Philosophy (Univ. Seville, Spain, 2003).

Job places as researcher in astrophysics: LAEFF-INTA (Villafranca del Castillo, Madrid, Spain, 1992-1994), Instituto de Astrofísica de Canarias (Tenerife, Spain, 1994-2001, 2005-2010, Staff researcher 2011- ), Astronomisches Institut der Universität Basel (Switzerland, 2001-2003).

Author of around a hundred papers in international refereed scientific journals, half of them as first author; editor together with Dr. Carlos Castro Perelman of the book Against the Tide. A Critical Review by Scientist of How Physics and Astronomy Get Done (in English, 2008).
