I am an accomplished gallery and museum administrative professional, having been the Curator of Exhibitions for two major museums in the Houston area. I was Gallery Director for several galleries in the United States.

I am also a published art critic – having published critiques and reviews in about 19 publications.

My Grant Funding experience stems from being Project Manager of Research and Development for a Smithsonian Affiliate, my own grant funding applications; outside the art world fund sourcing for other entities; federal contracts; field reviewer of governmental finance grant applications.

I have a BFA in studio painting from Kent State University, and have attended the International Society of Appraisers school for fine art appraising; in addition to supplementing my education with courses on concepts of museum collections and conservation techniques.

I have worked contract with the federal institutions such as the NEA as well as the IMLS.

I am also the publisher and founder of Contemporary Texas Magazine and Plumage-TX magazine.

My own artwork has shown internationally in ARCO – Madrid, at the MOCA DC, The Drawing Center in New York and numerous galleries in the United States.
