Ari J. Cohen is a life coach, podcaster, competitive strength athlete, husband, and devoted family man.

Now living in Berlin, Germany, with his wife, Bea, and their cat, Kimchi, Ari is on a mission to help people get “better at being human”—a” phrase that captures the heart of everything he’s studied and taught so far. From becoming a professional nutrition and strength coach to the deep inner work of life coaching, every path he’s walked has served this one purpose.

But don’t get it twisted—Better at Being Human,” according to Ari, isn't about chasing peak performance or perfection. He’s not a fan of that grind-until-you-break mentality. In his philosophy, it means two things: First, recognize that growth, both physical and spiritual, is a gift. Not a burden, not an obligation, but a privilege. Second, choosing to act from that awareness every day. Even when it’s hard. Especially when it’s hard.

Because it’s that daily practice that opens the door to self-forgiveness, personal agency, and eventually, the ability to lift others up too. Ari truly believes that when men and women alike gain the physical and mental tools to help themselves first, they eventually turn outwards and help their environment. And by giving such “tools of awareness” to the individual, can we ultimately better society and the world as a whole?

Ari grew up in an environment marked by emotional and physical turmoil. He knows firsthand what life looks like when awareness is missing—the pain it causes, not just to the person living it but to everyone around them. But as he began to wake up, slowly building awareness, he also began to gradually make better choices, which, with time, allowed him to break free from the patterns that held him back. That journey is what ultimately led him to the world of coaching.

With over 13 years in the coaching world and thousands of lives impacted, Ari has worked with people from all walks of life, guiding them through deep physical and spiritual transformations that stretch beyond the basic changing of one's habits. In fact, Ari doesn’t just coach habits—he goes deeper. He works with the underlying structures that create those habits in the first place: the beliefs, emotions, and unconscious patterns running beneath the surface.

Because real change doesn’t come from simply forcing new routines—it comes from understanding what drives you to want these routines in the first place and what drove you to your previous routines as well.

Only then can you truly take back agency over your life.

In other words, only when people understand the WHY behind their actions can they consciously make an educated decision to change. In recent years, Ari’s calling has taken a sharper focus: guiding men through the tangled mess of modern relationships so they can find a partner, establish a family, and serve as a role model and inspiration for their children. Through his podcast and signature coaching programs, Ari has helped dozens of men who once felt lost, frustrated, or disillusioned by today’s alienating social norms become leaders of their own lives and reconnect with a grounded, loving version of themselves—one that not only attracts a meaningful partnership but also brings a deep sense of inner peace.

Apart from coaching, Ari enjoys holding himself to a high athletic standard, writing, or simply having slow mornings with his growing family. He doesn’t believe things have to be perfect, but that one has to be present in the happening of it all, even the most mundane of activities. Because in the end, it’s not about performance, achieving, or accomplishing, but the integrity with which you show up every day. It’s not about “having” more; it’s about remembering what you have now. And learning how to live from that place of remembrance every damn day.
