Sasank is a fine art photographer and software, engineering leader.
He started with photography as a hobby, but it has grown into much more. As a fine art landscape photographer, he creates images and prints that exude peace, serenity, and thought. These creations are his way of searching for simplicity, elegance, and harmony. In his own words:
"I chase moments of quiet, of solitude, of grace, of the slow unwinding of time. Crafting these photographs is a form of meditation, a way to connect with my place in the world, to slow down and be with my thoughts."
As a software engineering thought leader, he has over 15 years of experience spanning leadership, senior management, architecture, and development roles. He has worked in a wide range of industries, including banking, defense and logistics, continuously improving and learning how to best deal with the challenges posed by that specific industry. He has spent the last ten years transforming teams, emphasising team cohesion, agility, and engineering practices.
Sasank was born in Nigeria to Indian parents. He lived and studied in Liberia, India, and South Africa, and currently resides in Aotearoa (New Zealand). Sasank holds a Batchelor in Computer Engineering with Honours from the University of Pretoria in South Africa.
