Where she dreams opens May 23 and runs through September 13, 2025 at 1202 Contemporary. This nature-themed exhibition showcases two imaginative Northern California artists whose mastery of their respective media reveals new ecological narratives. Set in the heart of Gilroy, the gallery invites viewers to explore a deeply reflective and experimental exploration of environmental art.

Over the course of the exhibition, visitors will encounter works that blend innovation and sensitivity to the natural world. With a strong focus on medium and process, the exhibition encourages us to envision alternative relationships with our surroundings—prompting a reconsideration of how art can serve ecological awareness and imagination.

Miquela Raiche is a visual artist and designer based in Gilroy, California, whose work is inspired by a deep appreciation for nature and the beauty found in everyday moments. The floral installations featured in this exhibition are the result of a collaborative effort, crafted with many hands and hearts. Created in partnership with 6th Street Studios & Art Center, the installations highlight locally grown California flowers and embody a shared dedication to community, nature, and the transformative power of collective creativity.
