Master Armando Fettolini’s solo show, on stage from June 7th to 29th, has been strongly supported by the two curators, Salvatore Marsiglione and Simona Bartolena, as well as by Professor Luigi Cavadini, Department of Culture Director of Municipality of Como, and this is because Armando deserves it, he his a great Master who “holds” painting, and he can dominates and shapes it.

The artist, in almost thirty years of artistic and personal research, has ranged in various fields, but always consistent with his free brake and framed in faith personality, believing in what is true.

The concept of the full circle, back to the starting point, drove us to widen the exhibition to two other institutional spaces, in november at Palazzo Ghirlanda Silva in Brugherio (MB), because that was where it all started, and in december at Palazzo Comune vecchio in Viganò (LC), where it is now established.

The exhibition in Palazzo Broletto, which is settled as a museum, starts to the concept of journey, seen as a way of life, as well as artistic, philosophical and performative.

The exhibition at MAG gallery, is instead designed to give more space to lasts year works, where the maturity of the Master, now deep, succeeds through an informal style, in emerge a recognizable image, which is part of us.

In the personal journey of each individual, affect experiences and different circumstances, but is when you stop to think that you breed yourself; the depth of thought is filled with reflection.

Armando Fettolini, always alternating series “dedicated” to a specific theme, drifts, call occasional indeed.

In the inner path of Armando Fettolini, his drifts, once occasional, now have a much more defined personality; they are no longer exclusively luminous landscapes of the Brianza area, but a symbol of the declared end of the journey, a homecoming, cultivated lands characterized by the nature, nature which has a leading and opposite role in man’s creativity and manual skills, man protagonist and antagonist of his land too.

Each series is a cross, each series is a step of the way, is a path that supports artist in is need to let the public understand the inner journey of an individual, and this path must necessarily pass through faith.

On exhibit, there will be six series, Dal Mondo Degli Strani (2004), where the artist looks at the people on the margins of society, left to themselves - Giuda Iscariota Un Uomo Di Città (2005), here the Master revises the figure of Judas Iscariot from his point of view, redeeming him - Corpi In Viaggio (2007), personal reflection based on the famous work “L’isola dei morti” of Arnold Böcklin - Randagi (2008), where the comparison between animal and human life is explicit- Si Nasce Dall’acqua (2011), dedicated to the art project that contains lake Como area - Derive Occasionali (2000-2013), a wide reflection on the evolution of this issue. - Salvatore Marsiglione
