The Powderhorn Art Fair will celebrate 34 years of community love and show-stopping craftsmanship in Powderhorn Park on Saturday and Sunday, August 2nd & 3rd, from 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM each day. This year’s Jury expressed undeniable zeal for our exhibitors this year, elevating this timeless tradition with new and returning talent encompassing our beloved Powderhorn Lake. The fair will feature over 200 exhibiting local and regional juried artists and over two dozen food trucks with a diverse selection of mouthwatering treats!

The Powderhorn Art Fair is delighted to showcase dynamically brilliant artists from the Midwest, cherished local businesses and arts nonprofits, blooming floral and garden vendors, and eco-conscious upcycle artists who continue to inspire us through their sustainable artistry. Artist categories include clay, digital art, fiber, glass, jewelry, leather, metal, mixed media 2D & 3D, painting, paper, photography, printmaking, sculpture, and wood. Prices vary, offering something for every enthusiast, experienced collector, and casual buyer.

Visitors will experience unforgettable community fun, niche art in every genre, and irresistible cuisines inspired from all over the world. The floral and garden vendors will include extravagant bouquets and floral offerings. The kid-favorite Family Zone returns with fun-packed, educational, and engaging activities for kids of all ages. The Powderhorn Art Fair is thrilled to spotlight upcycle artists for a third year in a row, promoting sustainability and environmental awareness through creativity.

This year, some of the proceeds from the Powderhorn Art Fair will support the Renter Support Fund (RSF), which is a key program of the Powderhorn Park Neighborhood Association (PPNA), the hosting organization of this highly anticipated art festival. Fairgoers will have the opportunity to donate toward the RSF at every exhibitor booth by scanning a QR code. The fund seeks to provide relief to cost-burdened Minneapolis renters through low-barrier cash assistance. This program has been a vital resource for many renters during a time of skyrocketing living costs. By combining our event and advocacy efforts, PPNA aims to center community wellbeing through collective action and radical love.

The Powderhorn Art Fair is partnering with KRSM Radio to provide an onsite DJ throughout the weekend, complimenting the vibrant art exhibits with the diverse sounds of the southside.

The fair is Free to the public.
