Art Market Productions (AMP), a division of a21, announces highlights of exhibitors participating in Art on Paper, New York City’s celebrated, medium-driven fair taking place in downtown Manhattan’s Pier 36 during September 2025’s Armory Art Week. The fair’s eleventh edition is set to take place from Thursday, September 4 to Sunday, September 7 with a VIP and Press Preview from 5–6pm on the 4th.

As one of the key moments on the New York cultural calendar each September, Art on Paper continues its dedication to showcasing the best in modern and contemporary paper-based art through a curated selection of over 80 local, national, and international exhibitors. Now in its second decade, the fair has long championed the expressive potential of paper in contemporary art, providing an accessible and immersive platform for collectors, curators, and the public to engage with work across disciplines.

The 2025 edition will spotlight leading galleries from across the U.S. Returning exhibitors include many of the fair’s longtime New York participants, including Tanya Weddemire Gallery, Vellum Projects, Uprise Art, Lincoln Center Editions, Walter Wickiser Gallery, The Tolman Collection, Kim Schmidt Fine Art, Philippe Labaune Gallery, Accola Griefen Fine Art, as well as New Haven’s GalleryLabs, Houston’s Cindy Lisica Gallery and Philadelphia’s Bertrand Productions. International programs returning to the fair include Rotterdam’s NL=US, South Korea’s Gallery SoSo and Dublin’s Stoney Road Press.

Art on Paper will welcome a compelling group of first-time participants, reflecting the evolving landscape of galleries and artists working with the medium. Newly opened New York spaces Transborder Art, Art Sales & Research and A Space Gallery will make their debut, alongside national and international exhibitors such as Brazil’s Oto Reifschneider Galeria de Arte, New York’s Elza Kayal Gallery, Milwaukee’s VAR Gallery, Telluride’s Fringe Gallery, Tokyo’s Gyagyagya Gallery and Studio Arrows, Brussels’ Mazel Galerie and Paris’s Galerie Minsky.

Art on Paper will also see the return of the BooksmArt Fair for its third edition, partnering once again with Center for Book Arts on the 'fair within a fair.' Center for Book Arts is the oldest nonprofit dedicated to uplifting and furthering book arts through education, preservation, exhibition, generation, and community building. BooksmArt will feature over twenty institutions and artists' book-focused programming. Participating artists and organizations include Girls and Queers to the Front, MakerMaker, and more.

A full list of exhibitors, along with further information on the robust slate of events, public programming, and creative partnerships, will be available in the coming weeks.
