New English Art Club

The members of the New English Art Club have each given a painting, drawing or a promise to be sold by auction in aid of the NEAC Future Fund and are delighted to present the auction in association with Sotheby’s.

The New English Art Club represents the very best of contemporary British figurative painting. It is one of the foremost exhibiting art societies. Figurative painting includes all painting that is based on nature - on representation of the visual world.

Throughout the exhibition, visitors will be able to bid on a number of the works through a silent auction. A selection of the works will only be available to buy during the live auction, conducted by Lord Dalmeny, Chairman Private Clients, Sotheby’s on Thursday 29 May from 6.30pm

The proceeds from the auction will go to the NEAC Future Fund which was set up to ensure the New English Art Club can continue to support and encourage artists for years to come. One of the Art Club’s main contributions to emerging artists is The NEAC Drawing School, staffed entirely by members of the society, the Drawing School offers a thorough and sound approach to drawing in its many forms.
