Printing has a long history in Switzerland. One of the oldest companies in the industry is Orell Füssli. The firm was established 500 years ago by Christoph Froschauer, who made his name by printing a Bible.

In the 21st century, the Zurich company is active in a range of segments, printing everything from non-fiction books to passports and banknotes.

The exhibition gives an overview, looks in detail at the firm’s technical innovations and presents bestsellers from five centuries.
