This unique project, which I conceived and realised entirely in the USA, comprises 58 cyanotype works. The works on paper (…) originate from all types of water that I processed on my journey from Seattle to New York: oceans, rivers, waterfalls, geysers, rain, snow, lakes and creeks.

This project is a reflection on sustainability and environment. It is a document that physically reflects the existence of water in all its versatility on the North American continent. The different composition of the various water sources in terms of minerals, salinity, trace elements, temperature and other situational characteristics make each work an absolutely unique work of art. The colour blue is therefore the maxim of the project and its different variations and intensities its principal characteristic.

I want the viewer to understand the individual artworks as individual portraits of water that reflect the infinite versatility of this element.
